This policy outlines the shipping practices for all orders placed on vektor.surf, managed by Elisia Akiko Cortez. My goal is to ensure a clear, reliable, and positive delivery experience for every customer.

1. Order Processing Time

Order processing is the time I need to prepare your item(s) for shipment. It does not include the actual shipping transit time .

  • Orders paid for before 4:00 PM PST on a business day (Monday-Friday) will typically be processed and shipped within 24 hours.

  • Orders placed on weekends or US holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • For items with specific processing times (e.g., “Ships in 5 days”), the timeframe listed on the product page will apply.

2. Shipping Methods & Transit Times

I ship within the United States and to select international destinations. The available shipping methods and estimated transit times are calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Domestic (US) Shipping:​ I primarily use reliable carriers like USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Standard domestic transit times are typically 3-7 business days after shipment.

  • International Shipping:​ I am happy to ship to the countries listed at checkout. International transit times vary significantly by destination, typically ranging from 7 to 20 business days, and may be subject to customs delays beyond my control .

3. Shipping Costs

  • Domestic (US) Shipping:​ A standard shipping fee is applied. Free standard shipping may be offered on orders over a certain amount, which will be clearly promoted on the website.

  • International Shipping:​ Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination, package weight, and dimensions. The full cost will be displayed and charged at checkout .

4. International Shipping (Duties & Taxes)

For international orders, please be aware:

  • Customs and Import Duties:​ Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by your country’s authorities once the package arrives. These fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer​ . I have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

  • Customs Declarations:​ Items will be accurately described as “Goods” on the customs form, and the value will be declared as the amount you paid for the item(s).

5. Returns, Exchanges, & Shipping Responsibilities

  • Due to My Error (Wrong/Damaged Item):​ If I make a mistake, I will cover the cost of return shipping and the shipment of the correct replacement item.

  • Customer-Initiated Returns/Exchanges (Change of Mind):​ If you wish to return or exchange an unused item in its original packaging within 7 days of receipt for personal reasons, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs. I will cover the cost of reshipping the replacement item .

  • Undeliverable Packages:​ If a package is returned to me due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, refused by the recipient, or unclaimed, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipment.

6. Risk of Loss & Tracking

The risk of loss for the products you order passes to you upon my delivery of the items to the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS). A tracking number will be provided via email once your order is shipped so you can monitor its journey .

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

I comply with all carrier and international regulations regarding restricted items. By purchasing from my store, you are responsible for ensuring the items you order comply with the laws of your destination country.

8. Force Majeure

I will not be held liable for any shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond my reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, war, pandemics, or carrier service disruptions.

9. Policy Updates

I reserve the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the updated “Last Updated” date.
